What do you understand by Grandparents’ right? It points out to tall the rights the grandparents would have to be with their grand children, in some cases when they do not stay with their grand children, it includes seeing and visiting them. Grandparents have whole right over their grand children, but many states have laws pertaining to the rights.

The constitution in the US does grant the grandparents rights over the grand children without any proper reason. The law differs in each state and it all depends on the situation and the circumstances. Many a times, the child’s parents feel it is well better for the kid if he or she is kept away from their grandparents. There may be many reasons for it like – the kid learns unnecessary things from them and if totally influenced, he / she might even stop listing to their parent’s orders. The rights are lost, if the child is staying happily with both the parents.

The court favors the grandparents’ petition when any of the parents of the child is dead and the other single parent is not able to take good care of the child.
